Review: Flying Lufthansa’s New Route From Bangkok, Thailand To Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Living in Bangkok, Thailand, I travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia several times a year. Malaysia is south of Thailand, with a land border with Thailand, stretching for hundreds of miles and major roads from Thailand going straight through Malaysia and down to Singapore. Kuala Lumpur, otherwise known as KL, is on the western side of Malaysia and, with a few different ways of getting there, some have more advantages than others. If you want to get from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, look at these different modes of transportation, and decide which one works best for you.
#2: Koh Samet: Koh Samet island is only a few hours from Bangkok and a very popular destination for local Thai people that live and work in and around the capital city. You can negotiate a taxi from Bangkok to the ferry boats for around 1500 Baht. On the way back, you can take a mini-bus service that goes to various locations in Bangkok including Bangkok airport for around 400 Baht per person. A short 35 minute ferry boat ride (cost is around 200 Baht) and you are on the the island paradise. Right away, you’ll notice that most of the visitors are Thai or from other Asian countries. And this is a good thing. It’s easier to meet nice Thai women when they too are on holiday!
Next to it was a bright green book called Unlimited Power, the marketing worked because it stood out from everything else. Picking it up and seeing the authors name, Tony Robbins, Anthony Robbins? I know that name. oh yes its the guy on that film, Shallow Hal. ( I saw the picture and recognised him really).
The city of Bangkok has seen a rapid growth in the past few years. It has emerged as the ultimate choice of many tourists when it comes to choosing the holiday destinations. The number of tourists is in millions who flock to this beautiful place every year. Bangkok travel packages avail you with options of cheap flights and also, they help you make your trip easier. You do not need to ask people what to see and what not to. The tour operator does it all.
Generally, the most effective option for finding a lower priced plane ticket is to book your flight as far in advance as possible. The typical guideline is to book your tickets at least 21 days before you want to fly, though there are certain times during the year that you should do it sooner than that. If you are touring to an in demand area during the summer or a holiday weekend, it is ideal to reserve your plane tickets more than 4 weeks ahead of schedule.
Travelers may try transportation by land. It is 886 kilometers distant away from Bangkok to Phuket province. The most reliable buses can be booked at the Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai). At Phuket bus terminal, travelers can find themselves to the next destination via motorcycle taxi, tuk-tuk, meter-taxi, or bus. Price varies from 10 – 100 baht, according to the vehicle and negotiation. Most local bus to one of the main beaches usually charges lesser.
Booking at the last minute may warrant some discounts in your flight and hotel too. If flights and hotel rooms are not yet filled, airlines and hotels offer low rates just to recover some of the overhead costs and come out with better earnings. If you know this, you can benefit from the last minute deals offered by airlines and hotels.
Make sure you read and understand all the information thoroughly as you do not want any surprises because of some hidden costs that you were not aware and did not allow for while you are on your holiday.
Mini Siam gets its name from the original miniatures from Thailand. The other replicas from around the world were added later. Many of the models show great craftsmanship. However a few of the miniatures like the Hualamphong Station or the bridge over the River Kwai are in urgent need of restoration. The buildings and monuments are reconstructed on a scale of 1:25.
Out of experience I would suggest using the airport pick up service since it is so much more convenient and trouble free than standing in line for a taxi at the airport. They usually cost the same and are not metered taxis but limousines.
